AUTHENTIC 1990 Chevrolet Dealership Showroom Poster Panel 90 Chevy Sport Trucks Measures 34″ x 17″ Shows two CK 1500 pickups: a red Z71 and black Sport identical to the 350 and 454 SS I worked at a Chevrolet Dealership 1987-1993 and removed the Poster Panels at the end of the model year when I installed the new model year Panels. I put them in the original GM shipping boxes and have only taken them out now for the first time in over 30 years! These were NOT available for sale to the public. GM sent each Dealer just one set of Car and Truck Poster Panels, containing one photo of each model, and that photo was also used in the Sales Brochure. Sometimes a model line would get a secondary Panel that featured a special version, which was VERY RARE, and this is one of them. Because they were these were intended to be used only for a single model year and discarded, they were printed on a thin plastic sheet which is somewhat fragile, and they tended to split and crack when they were installed in the plastic frames if not handled carefully. These also got scuffed and scratched during the removal process because they were held in by little tabs around the edges of the frame, so most ended up in the trash. GM supplied the Dealerships with plastic frames that were screwed to the walls and used year after year, so the Panels were designed to break before the Frames. This is an INCREDIBLY RARE Showroom Poster Panel, and it looks as pristine as the day it was installed.
