The DTX8K-M’s mesh pads are outfitted with two-ply Remo heads that can be tuned to give you the response you prefer. Yamaha’s pad technology delivers eminently playable, durable, and responsive drums while still keeping kit noise to a minimum. You can layer up to four sounds per pad with two stacked effects to create custom configurations delivered with studio-quality sound.The XP125 snare drum has a 3-zone sensor that responds naturally to varied stick work, allowing all of your dynamics to shine through. Different sounds can also be assigned to the various zones, offering the flexibility to feed your creativity. The DTX8K-M features real birch shells adorned with standard acoustic kit badges, lugs, and hoops for an authentic look that will stand out on stage.
