DESCRIPTION JMX – “Parbleu” Life Enhancing Audio Records (Netherlands) 541416 500915 (Stereo) from 2002. Hard to find Original 2002 First Pressing Netherland Import Acid Jazz / Dub / Trip Hop / Downtempo album from JMX aka Belgian Guitarist Jean-Marie Aerts also featuring Tikiman, Angelique Willkie, Patrick Bylebyl, DJ Donotask, Philippe Comte, Kaz Lux, Johan Vandendriessche, Stoy Stoffelen and more. In the Original Gatefold Cover with a Hype Sticker and NO Cutouts or promo markings. Includes the Original Heavy Card Stock Picture / Lyrics / Credits Insert Sheet. CONDITION The Gatefold Sleeve is in nice shape. There is some slight shelf wear, edge creasing and corner softening/wear. There is a little bit of wear on the inside of the gatefold along the opening edge of the back envelope. Super solid with no splits, stains, tears, cutouts, writing, etc. and would rate VG+ overall. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking lightly played. If you look closely you can spot some light scuffs and faint hairlines none of which affect play – no actual scratches i.e. something you can feel with a fingernail. VG+ visually and plays pretty much perfectly EX to Near Mint all through. The labels are Near Mint as is the Insert Sheet. If I provide Play Grades it is done as a courtesy but I only guarantee the Visual Grade. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine’s words: Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don’t affect one’s listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,… Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I’ve had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But…. it also means that I don’t issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. “That’s not MY idea of a VG record!” – I don’t know what your standards are and, as such, can’t grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less!
