This is a massive collection of Kentucky Derby memorabilia from the 70s and 80s. It includes a variety of items such as apparel, souvenirs, and other collectibles. This collection is perfect for any horse racing fan or lover of the Kentucky Derby. The items in this collection are in great shape and have been well taken care of over the years. This is the most massive collection of Kentucky Derby paraphernalia I have ever seen. Many of it going back to the 1970s and don’t see anything newer than 1980s. There are individual pamphlets for each race and I see a 1977, as well as a lot of other tickets And memorabilia. I count at least 25 winning tickets. They were never cashed in because they wanted the treasure of the winning ticket more than the cash prize. I wonder if these are still redeemable or if there is an expiration on them because this is a lot of money in race winnings tickets, and then I count four or five cash winning tickets from the 1970s which were a different style before they went to AM Tote ticket printing. There is notes jotted down in some of these books as you can tell they were very active at trying to figure out the best course to Bettan and as you can see, they won over and over again. I just wanted to let you know that some of the pamphlets do have handwritten notes in them which might actually increase the value there are also tickets for grandstand boxes and clubhouse box seat sections dating back to 1977. A collector is going to have a blast with this. I’m betting most collectors do not have this much in their personal collection right now but to get all of this from the 1970s and 1980s is absolutely incredible Overall most of it appears to be in very good condition. Some of the older stuff does have creases from folding etc. as well as bent corners but where else are you going to find this much for the world famous Kentucky Derby. This should honestly go to the museum because it’s a shame that it’s going to be Hidden again for many more years in a private collection when the whole world should get the privilege to view this amazing collection of history. There is also a wristband to the derby clubhouse as well as so much more. I just need you to take careful attention to all of these photos and realize the value in this. This could be potentially worth hundreds or thousands of dollars and even now as I’m picking up the collection. I’m discovering more uncashed tickets that slid inside of some of the brochures.
