I typically put aside items like this until I get a decent amount to offer. I recently put together a group of around 6 dozen items by Metal and contacted the expert that was recommended to me by the main U.S. distributor (although I did also contact Metal in Finland to get some information as well.) He helped me price the items based on his knowledge & experience as a sponsored lifter & sales executive. I have priced them at BELOW the prices he told me so as to be completely fair to my customers and remember, some of these items are not being made anymore and are rather scarce! Metal gear is NOT for beginners so I respectfully ask any newbies looking, to be 100% positive before you spend your money as i ONLY wish to sell this gear to experienced lifters who are completely sure of the sizes they need. That means……and I emphasize NO RETURNS! I just don’t have the time to deal with the hassle so save us BOTH some time & money and be sure to adhere to these terms that I’ve outlined. While they DO still make this suit they do NOT make it with adjustable straps anymore and they are VERY hard to find! Metal Ace Pro Squatter 2-Ply suit size 48 Black with adjustable straps in Used condition with NO problems. I contacted the Owner of Metal to find out what ply this suit is and I have included a copy of her reply in the posted photos. Essentially, the front of this suit is 2-Ply while the back is 3-Ply. As with all pre-owned gear I sell, this item was washed in cold water on gentle cycle and hung to dry for 24 hours so it’s perfectly clean! Please note: No returns on this so make SURE it’s the correct size for you. (Info on how to measure and find your size is at the bottom of this description.) You will squat more than you ever have! The Metal Ace Pro Squat suit has the set the standard for all double-ply squat suits. When it first hit these shores, no one could believe how intense this suit was. The material is so thick you would think it was made of canvas. Unlike canvas, this suit will give you rebound out of the bottom of the squat. This suit is also unreal for sumo stance dead lifters because of it’s V-type cut as it gives great support and starting strength in the hip and groin region. The Metal Ace Pro Squat Suit does NOT come with Velcro straps anymore! $370.00. Here’s a review I found on the Internet from 2011: Metal ACE is a multiply suit that consists of laminated layers of polyester. The ACE has two plies in the front and 3-4 in the back depending on generation of the suit. Its a very very strong suit with many people squatting over 1000 in it. Three of my teammates have used the ACE in the past, and I’ve tried it a couple times (never one that fit well). Its very strong and requires a good amount of weight over your raw max to get depth. Its as strong or stronger than canvas depending on the type of canvas suit. Velcro straps are usually a sign of an advanced multiply suit and are not recommended for people looking for a suit for general support. —————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————- Have someone else besides yourself measure to get an accurate measurement and do it TWICE to make sure!
