eBay NOS “SPHERE-1” (СФЕРА-1) 1989 Product We present a Rare and collectible NOS Vintage one-piece butterfly “SPHERE-1” (СФЕРА-1) safety razor with a red plastic handle made in the Soviet Union in the 1980s. Package The safety razor comes in a full Factory Package including the Original Case with Stamped Instruction. The razor was held in a sealed military storage. Condition The razor comes in the excellent mint condition, it was never used or touched since production. The doors have an nice mirror finish and open smoothly to a need for a slotted blade! Condition: 10/10! THE HISTORY BEHIND THIS MODEL “SPHERE-1” (СФЕРА-1) – 1989 This razor is made on the BIK (БИК) factory in the Soviet Union with models produced from the beginning of the 1980s up until the collapse of the USSR in 1991. There were several other models produced on the same factory throughout the year like 1980s adjustable SPHERE (unique and rare find as the batch had a limited quantity!). This model also comes in different variations such as earlier Grey model (1988) or 1986 model in a white prolonged SPHERE case. This is a closed-comb razor with a small gap making this model quite mild in terms of aggressiveness. Therefore, it is better suited for an everyday use. The razor comes as a full factory package including the Original Grey Case with Stamped instruction and a section for T-shaped shavers.
