This is truly one of the finest items I have ever had the pleasure of owning. It is signed by some of the most talented musicians ever to grace the stages. To say this is rare…. is a gross understatement and is an absolute ‘must own’ for any fan who has a true love and passion for music. An incredible amount of care has been taken in the framing of this masterpiece. A double framed / shadowbox display with Museum UV protective glass and the use of Acid Free materials guarantees this will last a lifetime. The actual poster is 24×36 and the overall framed dimensions are 33×45 with a professional framing cost of $960. Due to the size and weight the frame had to be reinforced giving it a total depth of 2.5″. This piece highlights not only the greatest guitarist of all time but decades of talent. Here is a list of the amazing musicians who have personally signed this poster from Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan during the entire 1990 concert season… First and foremost – a signature as bold as the playing style of legend himself – SRV! That’s right… Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble including Chris Layton, Tommy Shannon & Reese Wynans / Eric Clapton (a bit of fading but absolutely still very legible) / Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin) / Joe Cocker (who Stevie was touring with prior to moving on to the Eric Clapton Tour) Billy Idol / Ann and Nancy Wilson as well as the other members of Heart – Howard Leese, Denny Carmassi, & Mark Andes) / Michael Bolton / John Denver / Linda Ronstadt / Clint Black / CSN – Crosby Stills & Nash – David Crosby, Steven Stills & Graham Nash / Whitesnake members David Coverdale, Vivian Campbell & Steve Vai / James Taylor / Tracy Chapman / The Judds – Wynonna Judd – Naomi Judd / Bonnie Raitt / Damn Yankees (Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw, Jack Blades & Michael Cartellone / Jazzie B of Soul II Soul / Milli Vanilli – Rob Pilatus & Fab Moran / Tommy Page / Kenny G / Lou Gramm of Foreigner / Tris Imboden & Dawayne Bailey of the band Chicago and Depeche Mode, who at the time were performing at their very best! Stevie’s huge signature at the top of the poster garners your attention immediately and the list of all the other talented musicians captivate you from the top down. It’s a showpiece that will most certainly be the highlight of your Rock & Roll memorabilia collection. This hung on the walls of my residence and there wasn’t a single person who didn’t stand in awe of the stars that took the time to sign it. A showpiece like no other! This has quite a story and to add to it, this is the only item I have ever sold where I had ‘sellers’ remorse’ to a level that I had to repurchase it. I originally sold this item to a huge SRV fan who had seen him more times than I had. My thinking was that with all the other items in my collection, I figured I could display a few other pieces in it’s place. I regretted it from the day I sold it – to the point that I finally had to get it back from the estate I sold it to. Only problem – it was now in the hands of the ex-wife of the original purchaser. After a futile attempt to appeal to her good nature, I did finally acquire it again however I’ll withhold the price I had to pay and the hoops I had to jump through before we had a deal. I have health issues that have me selling it once again. I have been told that Stevie’s signature is the finest and largest example ever known to exist. It’s roughly 3″ high by 15″ long! My very first Stevie Ray Vaughan show was as a spectator and not in a working capacity – at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago back in 1985. Over the years I saw him play over a dozen more times. The Pine Knob show was the second to last venue I would ever see him perform. The next time was a couple months later at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin. I was there for both shows… There will never be a guitarist like him. I once heard someone in an interview say, Stevie didn’t play the music, he bled the music” – truer words have never been spoken… an absolute legend! ABOUT ME: I have worked in the live / touring music business since 1986… over 34 years now. In that time I have amassed a collection of items like none other and am now offering a small portion of my items to the public. What you are bidding on is an item that was actually signed by the band / artist and it is as real as it gets (unlike most of what I see online). If you are looking to purchase something authentic – here is your chance. It will pass any authentication process you wish and is as rare as it gets. I update the pricing as offers come in. I went so far as to literally catalog everything I collected at a particular concert that evening or following day of the event, going so far as to keep an actual journal for over 30 years with meticulous notes. I look forward to finding good homes for these pieces… It breaks my heart to sell them, but I must part with some of them as I have literally run out of storage and refuse to rent a larger unit. All of these items have been stored in a temperature-controlled storage facility and the framed items were custom framed by a professional framing company to museum quality standards using Acid Free materials and UV / Museum protective glass.
