I inherited the one-of-a-kind handmade amber necklace. There is about 1″ of the fish line used to thread the pieces that is bare, maybe it stretched over the years. The spaces between the amber pieces are threaded with silver beads and stone fragments unknown to me. The lobster claw fastener has 1.5″ of chain between it and 3 natural seed beads that start that side. The other end starts out with 6 seed beads. An Avon marcasite pendant with 2 pink crystals on a pink and black bead chain with 2 rhinestone separators near the pendant. The chain is 7-1/2″ on one side of the pendant with a lobster claw fastener, and 10-1/2″ on the other side and is adjustable to 3-1/2″ or more. The matching earring are 1″ long. All 3 pieces have Avon SP printed on the back which indicates that they were made by companies Avon hired out to. The pewter jewelry set of a 3-bird pendant and matching earrings is stored in a 1-1/8″ box. The earrings fasten to the lid of the box. The 3/4″ tall pendant is on a 16″ chain and is stored in the box adorned with matching birds. The labradorite pendant stone is 1.5″ long. The thin black rope net that it’s wrapped in has some damage due to age. It’s mostly reflective on the side pictured. The sterling silver ring is size 9 and has 925 inscribed on the inside band. Labradorite is considered a tremendously spiritual stone, especially helpful for people who tend to overwork as it helps an individual regain energy while aiding the body and spirit in healing itself. It’s a powerful protector creating a shield for auras and protects against the negativity of the world and within us. Due to its changing colors, it is known as a stone of transformation, enhancing strength of will and inner worth. It is said to stimulate the throat chakra. Though not associated with any zodiac sign, supposedly the sign of Cancer is especially drawn to labradorite. I inherited the Saint Michael Protect Us Catholic medallion which is decades old. The pendant is 3/4″ long. The back has Chapel 14K G.F. (gold filled) and the clasp has an imprint of a diamond with SN engraved within it. It’s so reflective you can see my camera reflected on the back image. The front is elegant, with “Saint Michael Protect Us” written around a dramatic image of Saint Michael. It has a matching chain, original as far as I know. The Mary medallions pendant is 3/4″ long. It passed down from my father to me in 1972. It’s possibly antique, or at least 80 years old. The front of the closed medallion is the Sacred Heart of Jesus medal, ending in “In you I put my trust.” The other side is the Our Lady of Mount Carmel medal, “Pray for Us.” The medallion opposite is The Miraculous Medal, of which Our Lady herself presented the familiar design. The medal depicts Mary standing on a globe, with the head of a serpent beneath her feet. Circling the oval-shaped medal is the signature, “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” On the reverse is the Marian Cross, 12 stars surround a large “M,” from which a cross arises. Below the “M,” the medal depicts two flaming hearts. The left heart, circled with thorns, represents Jesus. The right heart, pierced by a sword, symbolizes Mary. I polished the pendant lightly with silver cream, it can be more deeply cleaned by the buyer. No chain. A 1-1/8″ tall silver pendant that is a detailed figure of a smart owl on a perch with a celebratory tasseled graduation cap and faux (I assume) pearl body. I don’t see any marks on it to indicate metal type, but it cleaned up nicely with a little silver polish. It looks like silver, passes the magnetic test, and tarnishes when bleach is applied, another positive for silver, but without a mark I can’t be sure. No chain. I have another owl, a gold tone metal 3/4″ tall with what looks like a tiger eye stone. It has a matching chain. The oval shells linked choker necklace is adjustable from 13″ to 17.” The 2-1/4 x 1-7/8” beautiful earthtones, mostly pastel gold rhinestones Weiss butterfly pendant is attached on each wing tip to a matching chain. The chain is 7 inches on the clasp side, not including the clasp, and is 8 inches on the other side. It is adjustable. The double strand metal choker with a subtle wave to it, adjustable, is 15″ end to end. With a matching bracelet that stretches to fit. An industrial steampunk vibe. The puka shell necklace is 16″ long, with a barrel clasp. It looks like a souvenir from Hawaii. The 4-strand amber, white and clear beaded necklace is 17″ long, 34″ circumference can be doubled or tied in a knot. It has an earthy vibe. The striking wooden balls of varying sizes necklace is about 34″ long, about 16″ from top to bottom. The largest ball is about 1-1/4″ diameter. The wooden ball beads are interspersed with wooden and silver separators. The colors are of earth. The seed beads long strand is about 80″ long, so about 40″ top to bottom. I show a few ways it can be worn. I also include a pair of earrings, while not of seeds, rather what looks like sandstone, because I thought they’d go well together. The rose quartz 34″ strand with a natural rose quartz pendant has pearl seed beads and with rose quartz beads and gold separators. Rose quartz may be used to balance emotional health, release emotional blockages, and balance other chakras. The beautifully colored round beads with gold swirls, separated by gold beads, is about 29″ long. The 2″ long whistle is on a 27″ chain. The black beads necklace is 21-1/2″ long and adjustable to 4″. The largest bead is 3/4″ diameter. An elegant adornment to many outfits. The leopard skin jasper necklace is 17-1/2″ long. Leopard skin jasper holds a high vibrational energy that aids in spiritual growth, astral traveling, and past life clearing. It is a powerful protection stone that shields off negative energies. The small brown seed beads strand with artfully crafted clusters that look like roses is 55″ long. The Serpentine and black agate stones necklace is 24″ long. The green serpentine stones are about 1-1/4″ to 1-3/4″ long. The name serpentine comes from the greenish-brown color of the stone, which is thought to evoke the shades of a serpent. IT is the official state rock of California. According to metaphysical beliefs, serpentine provides a clearing of thought to better facilitate meditation. It’s said to clear clouded areas of the chakras and stimulate the crown chakra, promoting spiritual understanding and psychic abilities. Black Agate protects from danger, gives power against forces of darkness, and brings emotions into equilibrium. Agate can harmonize positive and negative forces, alleviate bad dreams and can give courage, energy, strength, and dispel fears, all of which increase self-confidence.
